Not one plow has come yet! This is a safety hazard as nobody can get out. Usually not a problem, but we seem to have been forgotten this time!

The greatest safety hazard at this moment is from all of the uncleared sidewalks on major arteries.
The city needs to prioritize and clear those first, so that children and elderly residents aren't walking in the middle of icy roadways alongside high speed traffic.
Any DPW snow clearing staff should be assisting with snow clearing on major city-owned sidewalks, such as those on the Grand Avenue bridge or near the city parks. Clearing streets needs to be a secondary priority for the next 24 to 48 hours. At that time, plows can resume plowing streets like these.
The city should also consider hiring the "shovel brigades" - groups of young men who are walking around neighborhoods and clearing snow, either for a small donation or as volunteers.
