Thank you for reporting this issue. A Code Officer will contact the owner/occupants and inform them of their bulky items rules and regulations as well as contact information for our Sanitation Department. Please note that items such as tires, paint, chemicals, items with CFC’s such as refrigerators, sod, construction debris such as concrete, rocks, dirt, items containing Freon, etc. may not be collected by our Sanitation Department and will need to be disposed of at a local landfill. Approved items can be put out for collection no more than 48 hours before pick up day. If items are not collected on their collection day, residents can call the Sanitation Department at 979-764-3690 to schedule an extra pick up . Updates will be posted here.
Everyone in our area has put this kind of trash on the side of the road. It’s very common and we see it all the time! I’m pretty sure when we demoed our bathroom we did the same thing!
But this isn’t contractor generated. I still think it’s ok and as I said, it’s been thecommon practice around here. It has been out more than 48 hrs but only by about 12 hours.
